This RSPB reserve lies at the most southerly point in Scotland with stunning views across the Irish Sea towards Cumbria, the Isle of Man and Ireland. The lichen-encrusted cliffs are home to more than 3,500 nesting seabirds such as puffins, guillemots, black guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and fulmars. There is a cliff-top cafe and toilets and CCTV cameras allowing excellent close-up views of the breeding seabirds.2,500 Gannets now occupy Scar Rocks (boat trips from Port William) Manx shearwater, and skuas are regular passage birds.

The reserve is open at all times.The seasonal visitor centre is open and staffed from 10AM to 5PM, Easter to October.Entry is Free but donations are welcome.
